5 Things To Do When You're Applying to Mercy College

1. Visit Campus

2. Review Program Requirements

Diagnostic Medical Sonography? Surg Tech? Nursing? Whatever your program of choice may be, find out what your specific academic program requires at mchs.edu/requirements to ensure you meet the requirements to be admitted.

3. Establish Your Start Date

Whether it be fall, spring, or summer, Mercy College runs on a year-round calendar to allow flexible start dates. Check with your admissions counselor so you don’t miss an important application or financial aid deadline.

4. Complete the Online Application

Create an account online at mchs.edu/apply to begin your application. Take your time — you can save your application progress and return at any time to complete. There are two application types: Application for College Admission (majors, minors, and certificates)and Guest Student Application (EMTs and CCPs).

5. Submit Your Required Forms

One last thing! You will need to submit your program’s required forms before your application can be reviewed. Common requirements include:

  • GED/HiSet scores
  • Official high school or previous college transcripts
  • Official ACT/SAT scores
  • Military discharge (DD214) or basic eligibility (DD2283) form
  • English as a foreign language (TOEFL) scores
